Floorball (Boys & Girls)
Floorball CCA at Fern Green Primary is a vibrant community where students come together to unleash their sporting potential, build lasting friendships, and experience the thrill of team competition. Floorball is a fast-paced and exciting indoor sport that combines elements of hockey and soccer, played with lightweight sticks and a perforated ball. It is a game that emphasizes teamwork, skill, and strategy, making it perfect for students looking to develop their athletic abilities while having a blast on the court.
In our Floorball CCA, students will have the opportunity to:
-
Learn the fundamentals: Our dedicated coach will guide students through the basics of stickhandling, passing, shooting, and game tactics.
-
Develop teamwork and leadership: Floorball is all about collaboration and communication. Through drills and friendly matches, students will learn to work together, support each other and lead their team to victory.
-
Stay active and healthy: Floorball provides an excellent cardiovascular workout and helps improve agility, coordination, and endurance.
-
Compete and represent the school: Students will be given opportunities to represent our school with pride and sportsmanship on the court.
-
Have fun and make memories: Beyond the game, our Floorball CCA is a place to make lifelong friends, share laughter, and create unforgettable memories together.
In 2024, both our junior boys’ and girls’ teams participated in National School Games, where they proudly represent Fern Green Primary with determination and pride.
